Tomato Pie I


  • one (9 inches) unbaked pie crust
  • a pair of eggs, crushed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dried minced
  • onion
  • 1/2 cup farm cheese
  • five plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 1/4 cups sliced Swiss
  • cheese


heat up kitchen appliance to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). during a medium bowl, whisk along eggs, milk, salt, basil, parsley, onion flakes, and bungalow cheese. unfold tomatoes equally across the bottom of the pastry shell, then sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Pour egg mixture over cheese.

Bake in preheated kitchen appliance for forty-five minutes, till set in the center.
